The iBall Andi 4 IPS Tiger, a smartphone that was listed on the company's website and was available with online retail store couple of weeks ago, has now been officially launched by the firm. The smartphone, priced at MRP of Rs. 7,199, comes with a best buy price of Rs. 6,599.
The Andi 4 IPS Tiger offers dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) support and runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box. The new budget Android smartphone from iBall features a 4-inch IPS display with a (WVGA) 480x800 pixel resolution and offers a pixel density of 233ppi. A quad-core (unspecified chipset) Cortex A7 processor powers the Andi 4 IPS Tiger smartphone, clocked at 1.3GHz, along with 512MB of RAM. The handset also comes in a 1GB RAM variant.
The new iBall smartphone sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, while there is a 0.3 megapixel front-facing camera also onboard that also supports 3G video calling. The Andi 4 IPS Tiger comes with 4GB of inbuilt storage, and can be expanded up to an additional 32GB via microSD card.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB, GPS/ A-GPS, GPRS/ EDGE and 3G support. The Andi 4 IPS Tiger is backed by a 1300mAh battery with no word on talk time and standby time. It also features FM radio connectivity alongside the auto-call recording feature.
Last month, iBall launched the Andi4 IPS Gem and Andi4 IPS Velvet for the Indian market. The iBall Andi4 IPS Gem and Andi4 IPS Velvet have been priced at Rs. 5,699 and Rs. 5,199 respectively. Both the dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) and dual standby smartphones run Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box.
