Alleged HTC One mini 2 Spotted in Leaked Image With Coloured Accents

htc_one_mini_2_aka_one_m8_mini_phonearena.jpg
HTC's rumoured upcoming mini variant of the HTC One (M8) (Review I Pictures) flagship, and the successor to the HTC One mini (Review I Pictures), has been leaked once again in an alleged image. The smartphone is rumoured to be named as the HTC One mini 2.
According to Phonearena, who received the alleged HTC One mini 2 image from an anonymous source, the image was clicked in public transport where a tester was using the device. The image shows the back of the device in hand with a combination of yellow colour accents for the strips and all-aluminium grey colour design body of the alleged One mini 2.
Last week famous tipster @evleaks in a tweetsuggested the phone may release as the HTC One mini 2 instead of HTC One (M8) mini.
Earlier Phonearena also put up an alleged press render image claiming the Duo Camera setup will not be seen on the mini variant. Not just this, the smartphone was said not come with a rear-facing UltraPixel camera and the company will pack in a 13-megapixel shooter instead.
The device has also been leaked in another press render image by @evleaks showcasing its different colours - grey, silver and gold.
The rumoured HTC One mini 2 is expected to run Android 4.4.2 with HTC's latest Sense 6.0 UI. It will be powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.7GHz and coupled with 1GB of RAM, leaks have suggested. HTC One mini 2 is also rumoured to feature a 4.5-inch display with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels. It will sport a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front facing camera, as seen on the HTC One (M8). The internal storage will be 16GB with the option to expand via a microSD card.

iPhone 6 display variants spotted in leaked images, design schematics

apple_iphone_6_rumoured_leak_foxconn_weibo.jpg
A number of purported images and specifications of the proposed Apple iPhone 6 device have surfaced online, starting a new wave of rumours.
There are three images coming from different regions across the world that indeed show two variations of the next iPhone 6, corroborating a previous report about two-screen sizes - 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch.

The first wave of rumours come from popular French publication, Nowhereelse, which alleges to shows detailed schematics of the iPhone 6. From the image, it has been noted that the handset might feature a wide 85mm body, which is more than that of Samsung Galaxy Note 3's (79.2mm) and HTC One Max's (82.5mm) width. The image also shows the handset to be rather tall, with a 150mm height. If real, this schematic is probably of the rumoured 5.5-inch variant.
The second image comes from a Japanese magazine, MacFan (viaPhonearena), which also shows the schematics of the alleged iPhone 6 in detail but with minor changes as compared to that seen with Nowehereelse.

The image shows a flat smartphone which has almost bezel-less screen and rectangle volume buttons unlike the circular ones seen till now. The image shows drawings for two possible variants, one with 4.7-inch screen and one with 5.7-inch screen - contradicting the Nikkei report about a 5.5-inch display variant. While the 4.7-inch model is said to be 137mm tall, 66mm wide and 7mm thick, the larger 5.7-inch iPhone 6 model is seen with 157mm height, 77mm width and only 6.7 mm thickness.
Lastly, three alleged images of the iPhone 6 popped up online from a Wiebo account. The live shots (See above) are said to have arrived straight from Foxconn, Apple's primary mobile manufacturer, and show an alleged prototype device. The images show an all-metallic smartphone with an Apple logo on the back panel and a slightly protruding camera from the body.
The protruding camera is nothing new to Apple as the firm has already went down the path with the same hardware in its iPod Touch. The Cupertino firm, as per the smartphone seen in the image, seems to be focussing more towards the curved hardware of the device rather than its screen. However, since nothing is confirmed, one can only take these images as a mere rumour.
Besides these image leaks, Reuters additionally mentioned that Apple suppliers will begin mass producing displays as early as May for the next iPhone. Japan Display Inc, Sharp Corp and South Korea's LG Display Co Ltd have all been tapped to make the screens, as per the reports.
The image leaks hinting the next iPhone to arrive in two screen size variants goes in line with what was mentioned last month. Reports suggested that the handset is expected to come in two versions with a 4.7- or 5.5-inch screen, up from the current four-inch panel.
Previous leaks have said the iPhone 6 will arrive with a much thinner body, a powerful processor and a higher pixel density screen. As for the processor, both Samsung and TSMC are rumoured to be making the new A-series 'Apple A8' chips for the iPhone 6, separately rumoured to be clocked at 2.6GHz. The iPhone 6 is also speculated to ship with an Ultra-Retina display, with a pixel density of 389ppi

The All New HTC One, or the HTC One 2014 smartphone, continues to stay in the spotlight ahead of its official launch on 25 March 2014. It has reportedly emerged in some new images, and also on a certification website that details key specifications.
As per a Tenaa (a Chinese wireless certification website) listing of the 'HTC M8t', the device runsAndroid 4.4.2 KitKat, features a 5-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen with full-HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) resolution.
The All New HTC One is seen to be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad-core chipset clocked at 2.26GHz and paired with 2GB of RAM. The handset is also said to come with 4G LTE wireless network support.
The HTC One 2014's most appealing rumoured feature is said to be its dual rear cameras. The Tenaa listing of the HTC M8t shows a 16-megapixel rear camera. New reports indicate the upper and the lower rear camera modules boast of 4-megapixel and 16-meapixel sensors respectively. Phonearenareports the Taiwanese firm will stick with its 'UltraPixel' technology and use it in the handset's front-facing shooter.
The Tenaa listing revealed a maximum expandable storage capacity of 64GB for the HTC M8t, but no built-in storage. The HTC One 2014 is said to arrive in four colour variants - Black, Silver, Red and Gold. The smartphone measures 146 x 70.5 x 9.45mm and weighs 157 grams.
Additionally the HTC One 2014 in some images has been compared to other flagship smartphones in the market, in terms of its size and body design. The images coming from Nowhereelse website, reveal the HTC One 2014's body compared with Apple iPhone 5s, LG G2, Samsung Galaxy S4, Sony Xperia Z1 and Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (See Below).

All New HTC One's full specs reportedly revealed in leaked sales guide

all_new_htc_one_full_gsmarena.jpg
It's getting tougher and tougher for the Taiwanese manufacturer to hide details of the All New HTC One (M8) before its launch on 25 March 2014.
It has just been a day since the alleged Telstra pricing plan brochure for the All New HTC One was leaked by GSMArena, a leak that indicated the name for the new flagship, along with a few specifications. Now the same website is claiming to have sourced all the specifications of the All New HTC One (M8) with the help of a tipster.
Though the website claims to have listed almost all the specifications of the device, it is still calling them unofficial preliminary specifications, since the All New HTC One is about two weeks away from the actual launch.
According to the purported preliminary specifications, the All New HTC One (M8) is a single-SIM device that runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat with HTC's latest Sense 6.0 UI. It is said to feature a 5-inch scratch resistant (Corning Gorilla Glass 3) display with a resolution of 1080x1920 pixels.
The All New HTC One (M8) is said to be powered by a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 chipset, coupled with 2GB of RAM. It supposedly includes 16GB of built-in storage, which is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.
Other reported specifications include a dual 5-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED (True Tone) flash and a front-facing 2.1-megapixel camera with HDR capabilities.
The All New HTC One (M8) is also said to come with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, MHL, Micro-USB, EDGE, GPS, 3G, 4G LTE and NFC connectivity options. The smartphone reportedly packs a non-removable 2600mAh battery. It is said to measure 146.4x70.6x9.4mm and weigh 160 grams, which is little more than the HTC One considering it has big screen with dual-camera lens.
The website has also posted an image of what appears to be a sales guide detailing the features of the All New HTC One (M8), which they also received from the tipster.
All the specifications mentioned by the website should be taken with a pinch of salt ahead of the official announcement. But it will certainly be very unfortunate for the Taiwanese manufacturer if the All New HTC One (M8) carries the exact same specifications when its announced on 25 March.
